The Seventh Art: Italian film theoretician Ricciotta Canudo gave cinema the label "The Seventh Art" in his manifesto published in 1911.
He argued that cinema was a new art, "a suberb conciliation of the six ancient arts: architecture, scultpure, painting, music, poetry and dance."

What do I need to sign up for a rental account?

All you need to join is a picture ID and a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit card or a debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo. If you don't have a credit card, you can still open an account but you will need to leave a $160 refundable deposit. To sign you up, we'll go over some of the policies with you, get your address and phone number and then you're good to go.

Can I add family & friends to my account?

Yes, you can add as many friends or family to your rental account as you want. Please remember that you are responsible for ALL of the additional people on your account. This means that if all six of your roommates and your little brother go on a vacation to Denmark for a month and forget to return their rentals, you are ultimately responsible for all of the resulting late fees - that's an extreme scenario but something to consider. If you have a user under the age of 18, they must have an adult present when hiring films MA+15 and/or R rated films.

When are rentals due?

Rental items are due by 7:00pm. There is a one hour grace period - so 'technically' rentals are due back by 7:59pm. At 9:00pm the rental(s) will show up as late on your account.

Is there a fee if I'm late with a rental?

Late fees are the full rental cost per day*, per title. For example, if you have two $7.50 rentals out and are two days late, your late fee would be $15. We do understand that occasionally you won't be able to make it in on time. You are always welcome to bring rentals you know to be late to the attention of a manager. We'll do our best to help you out.

What if I can't return my rental on time?

The easiest way to avoid late fees is by renewing your rentals. Just call the store before 9:00pm on the due date and we'll check them out to you again. Standard rental fees apply when titles are renewed and you can pay via the credit card. Titles on reserve for other members cannot be renewed.

Can I return my rental(s) when the store is closed?

When the store is closed, you may use our secure night-drop located next to our front door that accommodate DVD and Blu-Ray titles.

I don't remember when my rentals are due...

If you need to know when your rentals are due, just give us a call.
